If you’re staying at South Park Cabin, you’re only a 15-minute drive from one of Fairplay’s hidden gems: Snitching Lady Saloon. Tucked in the heart of historic Front Street, this old-west-style bar delivers a uniquely local experience that’s equal parts nostalgic and welcoming.
Whether you're winding down after a hike or looking for apres ski on your way home from Breck, Snitching Lady is a must-visit.
A True Colorado Saloon Experience
Snitching Lady Saloon blends rustic charm with a playful vibe. The building has all the creaky floorboards, sour mash aroma, and western nick knacks you’d hope for—but with modern touches like craft cocktails and live music nights. Friendly bartenders, vintage décor, and quirky details make it feel like you stepped into the Colorado frontier—but with better drinks.
Family-Friendly During the Day
Don’t let the “saloon” name fool you—it’s surprisingly kid-friendly during the daytime. When we stopped by for a daytime drink and some local snacks, even the little ones got to belly up to the bar (with lemonade, of course).

Plan Your Visit
Address: 520 Front Street, Fairplay, CO
Open: Noon to late, 7 days a week (check their Facebook page for live music nights and events)
What to try: Their signature 'Parson Brown' or 'the Snitch' cocktails are our favorite.
If you're coming from South Park Cabin, take a scenic drive south on Highway 285—Fairplay’s historic downtown is the perfect place to explore shops, grab lunch, and experience a bit of old Colorado charm.
